been this happy in a long time. Things are finally working out the way that they should. School is going good. Emily and I are still and always will be best friends [though, it is a little harder living with her :0)], Adam and I are together and happy. I'm just so very happy. My weekend was really good. Busy, but good. Friday I got off work early and drove to jeff city. It has become a friday night ritual that I drive down when I get off work to go watch Adam play softball. The guys won both games by a great deal and although I was FREEZING, I had a great time! Then, a bunch of us went out to dinner and that was a lot of fun too. It is always great making new friends. After dinner, Adam and I just went back to his house and watched a movie since we were both exhausted! On Saturday my dad came up to visit me for the first time since I moved up here and it was so nice to see him. Adam came with us out to dinner. Adam is thinking about joining the Marines so he got a chance to talk to my dad about that. Once my dad left Adam and I drove down to Fulton to go to a bbq with some friends. We had a great time. Hung
out, played some rock band, and just relaxed. It was nice. On Sunday, Adam actually played softball with my brother after we did some laundry and helped (or tried to) his mom put up a cabinet in her bathroom. At the end of the day, we decided to go see a movie. I don't have class until 11am today so we thought why not? We went and saw Nights in Rodanthe which is based of a novel by Nicholas Sparks, whom I love! It was great! Made me cry, but still very good. Well anywho, a new week of school has started and I'm already ready for the weekend! Love you all!

One thing I forgot to mention... last Saturday night I was playing with Chase and the funniest thing happened! He decided to lift up my shirt to see my stomach and just blowed on it. Ya know, to make that really funny sound? It was the funniest thing ever! Chase and I were both laughing SO hard. I just love playing with him. It just makes my day! Well that is all. Im getting ready to go shopping for a dress for my cousins wedding. Wish me luck! Au Revoir!

Just another day
Chase went potty on the toilet for the first time last night! How exciting! My
baby nephew is growing up SO fast! It feels like I was just meeting him for the first time. It is so nice living here in Columbia and being able to see him in 5 minutes rather than 2 hours. I never thought that would ever get here. I feel like I've been wanting to move to Columbia for FOREVER! Anywho, life is good. School is going pretty good. I'm learning to accept that B's are okay too. :0) That is pretty much what Ive been getting on my tests. I don't know if I just not used to how to study for the tests or if B's really are that good. Who knows. I'll learn eventually. I was reading through my old "online journal" and it is ama
zing how much I have changed. I even found this...

I mean, we still look like ourselves but dang. I was 13!!! Unbelievable. ha ha. Anyway, I just felt like writing a little something on here. I'm finally done with all my tests in my classes and I can take a breather. WHEW. Hope everyone is having a good. Love ya!

Cards Game!
Last night Adam and I went on an unexpected trip to St. Louis for the Cardinals Game! It was so nice to do something that was out of the blue and not planned. It made the day at school go by super slow but well worth the wait. I skipped a college class for the very first time. :0/ shh! ha ha. I'm not really all that upset about it. It was my history class, my very least favorite, and the one I dread twice a week. In that class we only have a midterm and final where we write an essay and he gives us the topic beforehand. So, I'm not really all that worried about it. The drive was actually really nice. Listened to some music while I studied and the best part, I got Jack in the Box! Sounds a little crazy? Well there is NO jack in the box here in columbia. The closest one is in Warrenton and it tasted delicious! The game started at 7 and we made it just in time. It was great. We left around 9:30 so we wouldn't get back too late but for them being free tickets, it was still worth it. What a relaxing way to start my week. This Saturday my dad comes in to visit and I'm super excited. I haven't seen him in such a long time! Well that is all for now. XOXO!

Parent Weekend
This weekend at MIZZOU was parent weekend and my mom, Mark, and Caite all came down to Columbia. Friday we went to my brothers softball game and then "tailgated" in the parking lot with his team. I suppose that is what you you would call it. Saturday I worked the longest shift of my whole life. I was at the Tiger Team Store, which is located at the Stadium, from 7:45 am to 5:45 pm. I was so happy to leave there when I did! Since I didn't get to watch and hang out with my family during the game, we all went to dinner afterwards and then just hung out at my brothers. Sunday wasn't all that exciting either. We all went out to breakfast and then went our seperate ways. Mom, Mark, Caite, Chase and I went to campus so I could show them around and Drew and Nicole went shopping. It was really nice being able to take care of Chase so Drew and Nicole could go do their own thing. We all ended up at Walmart. Drew and Nicole to grocery shop and I had to get some things I was beginning to run out of. After my parents left, I had to come back to my room to go to this BIG review session for my math exam tommorrow. It was over 2 hours long! Crazy, I know. But I feel so much more prepared for the exam now. Tonight, I have to study for my Intimate Relationship class because I also have a test in that tomorrow. woohoo. Well I better get back to all that. cya
p.s. thing with adam and i are much better. so jewlia, you can stop worrying. ha ha i did get your message, i was at work though and havent gotten a chance to return your phone call! love u!

I wish...
writing on here would make everything better. I wish what I wrote in my online journal would actually happen. But it won't. I'll have to get through things on my own. Its hard to write on here exactly what I'm feeling because it isn't just my closest friends reading this, actually the whole world could read it if they wanted to.
To start off with, I'm sick. Again. Seriously? I've been at Mizzou exactly a month today and I've already been sick three times. This better not be a pattern or the student health center is going to become my new best friend. I just hate being sick. It just seems to make everything else that much worse.
Secondly, Adam. What is there really to say? Adam recently just lost his father and as a result is going through a pretty hard time. Who wouldn't? Though, I'm somewhat dealing with those consequences. For those of you who don't know, I've known Adam since he 14 years old. Thus, making me only 13. That seems like forever ago. But since then we have had this bond. I'm not sure how to describe except to say that we do love each other. Maybe we're not IN love with each other but I will always deeply care for him. He is a part of my life and to tell the truth I don't know if he ever won't be. When I dated Sam, I didn't talk to Adam. There were occasionally a few texts when I wondered how his dad and mom were doing but nothing more. I did not hear his voice for well over a year. Can you imagine not hearing one of your greatest friends voices for over a year? Now that I am in Columbia its much easier for us to talk. Just the other day I had a 3 hour break in between classes and he just drove up to hang out. We've never had that. He has always been 2 hours away. Since Adam and I were last together, we have both changed greatly. Or at least we seem to think so. We can both sit down and have a conversation and talk about whats bothering us without the other person storming off. For some reason our hands have always been able to fit together like puzzle pieces. Take that for what it is. I guess I'm just someone who believes in fate. We make the best out of each other and are truly there for the other when the other needs it. In my eyes, we would be great together. Though, we can't. Adam is going through a really hard time right now and just can't seem to put himself in a relationship. I can't tell you how many times we have talked about this and it always goes back to him not wanting it 100%. How do you force someone to do something they don't want to do? How do you show someone that everything will be OK if they just let it go and let things happen? How do you prove to someone that you were supposed to be together without pressuring them in to it? It is all so confusing. A lot of people have been asking me what is going on with me and Adam. Well, here is your answer. Right now, Adam and I are friends. I'm giving him the time that he needs to himself to sort things through. We're both taking the time to see if we should give this another shot. Who knows what will happen in the end, but I think we all know what I want to see happen. Things will work out the way they are supposed to. Just have to take one day at a time.
love you all!

College Life
What is there to say about this week? hm..... Well college is proving to not be as hard as I thought it would be. Don't get me wrong, I'm still having issues. Like my two 70% on math quizzes. It was really hard for me to take that in, considering in high school I got A' most of the time. It even harder when other people expect you to be getting A's too. Oh well. I'll get the hang of it eventually. It is just that all the quizzes I have taken for my classes are no more than 5 questions long. If you miss just one you are already down to a B( by high school grading standards). Apparently my 70%'s are still B's in the college grading scale. Who knows. Wednesday night I did get a nice dinner thanks to my wonderful sister and brother. I have no idea what I would be doing without them. I feel like I do rely on then a lot but then again, I guess that is what brothers and sister are for. I just LOVE living so close to them. I don't get to see them everyday but in one simple phone call I could see them in 5 minutes. How awesome is that? I went from 2 hours to five minutes! Actually, it is exactly 4 miles from my dorm to my brothers house. ha ha. I really have missed my brother. I haven't really gotten to spend much time with him since he left for college when I was 9. i can still remember that day like it was yesterday. It is funny the things that stick in your head from when you were little. Another bright part of my week was just last night. I got to see Mrs. S! It was so wonderful to sit and talk with her. I haven't seen her in quite a while and definitely needed to catch up. There are so many things that I needed to tell her about since we don't have that time in the library anymore. I even got to see Noah. What a cute kiddo he is. Between the "scoot" and his drooling you can't resist him. Tonight I will probably be driving to Jeff City. I promised Adam I would come to one of his softball games and now that they are on Friday nights, it makes it a little easier. Saturday- MIZZOU vs. Nevada. I'm sure I will be tailgating and then game time at 11:30am! This will most likely be the last game I get to attend since I will start working at the Tiger Team Store. Gotta make money. Well I think that is all for now. I'm sitting in a computer lab in the basement of the Arts and Science Building. I should probably go start studying for that math quiz I have in 2 hours. Off I go. Hope everyone has a good weekend!

MIZZOU- 52...SEMO- 3
Two weeks down. So far, so good. Went to the first home football game this saturday. I didnt buy the student season tickets because I thought I would have to work every home game. Luckily, two girls I work with bought their season tickets and did have to work this game. So I got to sit in the crazy student section for my first football game as a student. It was so different going as a student rather than just as any other fan. I could do the chants and all the hand motions. All without feeling completely stupid. :0) The picture of Chase and I is my favorite. Hard to believe last season he was a teeny tiny baby. Auntie Nell sure loves him! Well thats all for now. Love ya'll!
