Update!

Lots of things have changed since my last post. I'm moved in to my brothers NEW house and the summer has officially started. This week I am watching Chase since his new daycare will not have a spot for him until the week they get back from vacation. So, Aunt Nelle steps in! I love staying home with him. I gets all the hugs, the kisses, and the "I loles you" (I love you). I don't know what I am going to do next week when they are at Disney World. From going to spending everyday with him to not at all for a whole week!

I took some pictures of the new place. Things are still kinda everywhere since it takes a little while for everything to get back to normal. The walls have to be painted and some more wallpaper needs to come down but other than that we are good to go!

On a different note, I need a job. Bad. I was trying to get this job at a Landmark Bank here in Columbia but I've been having a little trouble. I would love to take a full time position but I have all day Tuesdays and Thursdays so that just isn't an option. So part time it is. I looked online and they have one part time position available but it is a Teller IV position. If it were more of an entry level job such as a Teller I or II it wouldn't be that big of a deal but the Teller IZ position usually requires about 6 month previous experience at a bank which I do not have. So, there is my issue. The only reason I'm doing this bank is becuase Colin's best friend is marrying a supervisor at a Landmark Bank so I was able to put her down as a refernce. Anyway, basically a lady in HR and I have been playing phone tag the past few weeks and finally yesterday I go to talk to her. Basically she said, unless my customer experience just blows them away then they will probably wait for someone else to come along with bank experience. Bummer. Though, today I got a phone call for an interview!!! YEEHAW! I couldn't believe it. The lady in HR must habve said something which worries me that the only reason I am getting an interview is because she said something. To add to it, when they called me to schedule an interview I had to turn down the first one. They wanted to do it this Friday but I will still be watching Chase. I felt so horrible and un professional telling them I couldn't do it. Thus, my interview is next Monday and I am worried, stressed, excited..... I am just not sure what to expect. Am I going to walk in, they ask me one question and then send me right back out to the door? I don't want to dissappoint them. So if any of you have tips on having a good interview let me know! I want to do the best I can!

Here is an awesome vidoe of Chase talking. He just can't seem to stop talking! ha ha

I do believe that is all there is for now! Have a good week!

Hugs!

Down on the Farm

Last night Drew, Nicole, Chase and I all went to this park where they were having this thing called "Down on the Farm". They had a whole bunch of activities for kids to run around and do. Chase had a great time and I luckily remembered to grab my camera before heading out the door to get a few pictures of the fun!

I am sittting here at the computer while my mom dries my hair [ahh...love being home :)] I figured I would at least get on here and post a picture of two. So here are some that my mom took today while talking to Chase on Skype. Skype has been amazing. It helped me get through my first year of college so much easier. Being able to see my mom rather than just hear her made me feel like she was just a little bit closer. Well anyway. I off to bed. Have a good monday!

14 hours...

& it is over. My first year of college. Over. I can hardly believe it. Tonight Emmy and I are enjoying our last night together in the dorms with boxes everywhere! I've been thinking a lot about tonight. Alot about the past year and how much we have grown. One thing it for sure, it has made our friendship a lot stronger. I will never forget this year, this room, this night. The friends I've made and the memories I won't forget. Bye, bye freshman year.

Ms. Undecisive

I need help deciding if this is the photo I should use for my final project. I really like it and LOVE the color but I just need some reassurance. If ya got any, let me know!

Meet Izzy

This is Izzy. Me and Colin's little 1 year old cat. She is the size of the kitten and because she is a dwarf cat, she will remain that size for the rest of her life! I absolutely love her. Colin's friend has a million cats and by a million I really mean around 20 or so. This wasn't intentional but since they live in the country they obviously mate with other cats and generally have kittens twice a year. Lily is one of those kittens though because she is a dwarf cat she is much smaller and will remain much smaller. A lot of the other cats are starting to beat up on her a little and she doesn't have other cats to "bond" with. So that is when I stepped in! We are bringing her home this Friday and taking her to get all her shots this Monday. She'll be staying at Colin's house until Colin gets his own place because where I am living at next year one of my roommates in allergic. :( It will be ok though. I'm sure there will be more pictures in the future! I am going to go see her again tonight so she starts to know who I am.

Confessions:

1. I should be working on my part in the group speech since my group will be here in 10 minutes.

2. I need to stop eating out so much. It isn't good for you but I am so tired of the dorm food.

3. I'm desperately trying to hold myself together for the last 9 days of school. I can do this!

4. I'm worried that I won't keep doing well in school. I'm scared that I will fail and most of all I am terrified of not getting into my program. They heavily look at math and science and what is a B+ isn't good enough?

5. I'm always competing against my best friend. It is so wrong but I feel like a failure if I don't do as good as her.

6. College is hard.

7. I miss my family. a lot.

8. I need to have my own room again. I need to have my own space.

9. I'm beginning to like photography but it still confuses me. How the heck do I figure out this shutter thing?

10. I am loving the country right now. To be able to get away from the city feels amazing sometimes. Though, if I'm starting to consider Columbia the "city" what will I think of St. Louis this summer?

11. I really wish I was staying in Columbia for the summer. If only all of my family could just move here.

12. I care a lot about Colin. He makes me so happy.

13. Chase is my life. I don't know what I would do without that little boy. He amazes me every time I see him.

Now, you go and make your list of confessions. Get those stressful things off your chest.

Have a good week!

Here are a few pictures from the weekend.
